North East Provider Portal

Welcome to the North East Provider Portal created with the aim to support schools to meet the provider access legislation (Baker Clause), connect with local training and technical education providers, and ultimately help young people and their parents or carers to find out about the 16-18 local provision available across the North East Combined Authority region.

 

With the opportunity to browse providers, consider provision types including T Levels, apprenticeships, and vocational courses, focus on specific sectors or location as well as the ability to explore local opportunities and become more equipped for planning future pathways.

Type of provision

What type of education or training are you looking for? Select one from the options below based on how you like to study:

Apprenticeships are paid jobs where students are trained in the essential skills for a specific job role whilst having full employee rights. They include classroom study alongside the on the job training.
T Levels are designed to help students develop the knowledge and technical skills required for skilled careers. They involve an industry placement alongside classroom study.
Vocational courses combine a mix of theory and practical learning and may also be referred to as study programs. They can include short work experience placements too.

InfoFoundational Economy - The foundational economy provides services and goods that are essential to everyday life. This includes food, retail, energy, transport, construction, agriculture, care and education. It is the backbone of our economy, providing vital services and the supply chain to delivering wider growth in the region
 High Growth - A high growth sector refers to an industry or segment of the economy experiencing rapid expansion in terms of revenue, market size, or employment.
