About TTS
TTS is a local training provider specialising in the transport and logistics sector. It was founded in 1969 by a group of haulage and transport operators who were struggling to find quality logistic and transport training for their employees. Over the past 50 years, the company has gone from strength to strength continuing to deliver core training such as HGV and CPC driving tuition and testing, whilst evolving training services to other disciplines within the sector.
TTS now provides training to a range of logistic and transport operations and personnel as well as individuals looking to advance their own skills or professional qualifications.

At Tyneside Training Services (TTS) we offer a range of Transport & Logistics courses ideal for anyone looking to develop existing skills or to gain new qualifications to enhance their career development. We also offer information, advice and guidance for those new into the sector who are looking for a new career or for those looking for a change of direction.
We can also help young people who are looking into the sector and help them map out a career pathway and guide them on the qualifications that will best help them build their long-term future in an exciting and growing industry.
All training is delivered using a combination of practical and theory-based learning by expert trainers. Our customer service and training teams will provide all the help, support and guidance needed to ensure you receive hands on skills coupled with the knowledge and behaviours that meet and exceed industry best practice. At TTS we are able to offer both commercial and funded training. Our funded training includes delivery of Apprenticeships, Skills Bootcamps and Adult Short Courses.

Transport and Logistics Training
Our Transport and Logistics training covers a range of practical training courses such as LGV, ADR/Drivers CPC.
Transport Management and Mechanical Handling Training
Our Transport Management and Mechanical handling training covers forklifts, reach lift trucks and RTITB operators training courses and driver competency-based accreditations.
Health and Safety Training
Our Health and Safety Training provides a health and safety skills and training that translates directly to your workplace and inspires employees to implement and follow health and safety procedures and practices in their day-to-day work environment. We will provide you and your workforce with leadership safety training, accident prevention, IOSH, NEBOSH, emergency and first aid courses, manual handling skills and general safety training.
HR and Wellbeing Training
We offer you all the skills needed for people management and employee wellbeing whilst keeping you on the right side of the law. Our courses and services provide HR advice, performance management, role profiling, disciplinary procedures, mental health, stress management, change management, succession planning professional leadership training.
Leadership and Management Training Courses and Programmes
People are your greatest assets and providing employees with strong leadership and performance management is essential. At TTS we provide a range of quality leadership training and management courses to help you get the most from your workforce. They include neuro linguistic programmes, mentoring, influencing people and leadership skills training.
Personal and Career Development Training
TTS have a number of training programmes, courses and apprenticeship programmes designed to help people develop new and existing skills that they need to succeed in the workplace. We provide team building and specific skills programmes for apprenticeships as well as courses such as presentation skills, helping prepare young people for the workplace and unlocking potential.
