About Safety Advisory Consultants
Safety Advisory Consultants builds confidence through its health and safety construction training courses for all age groups.
We are based in East Boldon area of South Tyneside. Safety Advisory is set within 25 acre site shared with equestrian facilities delivering to learners aged between 14 to 18 on the alternative provision and study programs. From the ages of 19 plus we can work with unemployed through to employed in delivery of the health and safety assessments working towards the CSCS Green labourer card to gain entry to the UK's construction job market.
We are also able to deliver commercial training on construction plant machinery through our NPORS accreditation and can offer NVQ's from level 2 plant operative to level 6 site management.
What's on offer
We have the capacity for 20 individuals on alternative provision to work on land management and construction projects on our site. This would give individuals the skills and knowledge to work towards the CSCS green labourer card to make them employment ready. Individuals would be gaining insight and knowledge in the construction sector to complete the environment touch screen assessment together with the 1 day health and safety assessment and the opportunity to apply for the green labourer card.
During attendance they learn about fencing repair, how to drive a four wheel quad when towing equipment to the work areas, operating plant machinery i.e forward tipping dumpers, mini excavators, manual elevated working platforms, working with tractors, safety and general site maintenance.
Working together we can also build bespoke courses to suit individual needs. We have a classroom area with coffee shop for food and drinks and welfare facilities for all personnel on site.
