BL Hairdressing Training – The real alternative to college! We are based in the North East of England, Est. since 1986. We provide high standard training for our future generation of talented hairdressers & barbers. We have 3 training academies - Newcastle, Darlington & Stockton. We work with the best employers in the North East region and offer real employment opportunities for enthusiastic and creative individuals.
What's on offer
BLT work closely with employers, schools, apprentices and the local community, we have expanded our provision to include Experience Taster Sessions, along with offering a yearly Summer Academy, Traineeships, Hairdressing Apprenticeship Standards, Barbering Apprenticeship Standards, Technical Bespoke Workshops and Higher Apprenticeships including Salon Management and Education and Training.
We provide IAG recruitment services for both employers and learners along with a weekly jobs club for school leavers and young people who are interested in a career in hairdressing and barbering. We provide courses for everyone, from pre-apprenticeships through to salon managers.
Our aim is to provide a ‘one stop shop’ of training solutions for individuals and businesses at different levels and different job roles. We pride ourselves on offering flexible and bespoke training packages, alongside the more traditional qualifications-based route. We offer onsite training and academy based provision. We firmly believe we have a course to suit everyone’s development needs.
