The Talent Foundry runs a wide range of fully funded bespoke programmes with a variety of corporate partners across different sectors.
We work exclusively with the most disadvantaged schools in the UK, with a unique network of around 1,600 state secondary schools, and since our inception 12 years ago, nearly 700,000 students have benefitted from our programmes.
We support young people to ‘think big’ about their futures and access valuable employment opportunities including apprenticeships with our corporate partners and places at higher education establishments.
Our mission is to increase social mobility by helping young people from disadvantaged backgrounds discover what they are amazing at, develop valuable new employment skills and take that first step into the world of work.
All our programmes are free of charge for schools in our network. We aim to help young people develop confidence and self-belief but also include a more explicit focus on skills development, particularly core transferable skills such as teamwork, problem solving, public speaking, self-confidence, resilience and creativity as defined in the ‘Skills Builder Framework’.
