About this course
This suite of educational material is aimed at careers leaders and other education providers who are working with SEND students. The course is intended to help students:
- understand more about work
- access work experience opportunities
- reflect on work experience
The activites on this course are designed to help students understand more about:
- their own skills, strengths, and personality traits
- the value of teamwork
- industry 'sectors' and specialisms
- different workplace environments
The course is split into 8 modules, and we've provided a module overview, facilitator's guide, and worksheets (in both regular and large print) for each one. These can be downloaded individually below, or as a single zip file, here:
Module 1: Who I Am
Ensure students consider the areas in which they would be comfortable attaining work experience.
